What is the best way to gain a bigger fan base and gain a few more viewers?

There are many ways to expand your fan base; some ways may include minor tweaks to your work or even to where you are promoting yourself.

Lets say you go out to a gig, you meet new people, make new friends, and then you ask them for their Facebook page, but they say they don’t have one. Not everyone has the same social media outlets; this is a good hint that you may need to try various other types of social media sources.

Using several sources to promote your past accomplishments and future projects can be very beneficial to you, there is a large community out there that may find your work on other sites like Instagram or YouTube.

Other ways to gain more fans may include changing your approach to your work, tailor it to a certain community or change the settings a little, depending on what you’re working on. Before you start jotting down ideas of what you’re going to do, take note of who your target audience is and consider their “race, gender, weight, religion, disability” etc. (SAE, 2015)

Working with other people and collaborating with other fields of work is a really strong way for gaining more viewers. This opens your work up to a lot of different communities worldwide.
